Dr. Olivier Barthelemy

Dr. Olivier Barthelemy (“Dr. Ollie”) is a licensed clinical psychologist who helps adults and adolescents navigate anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, trauma, and life transitions. Many clients come to him feeling overwhelmed by worry, self-doubt, or repetitive thought patterns that are hard to break. Dr. Barthelemy offers a structured and compassionate space to make sense of these experiences, reduce distress, and build practical tools for long-term change.

Dr. Barthelemy specializes in evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD. Specifically, he uses a flexible, skills-based approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches such as the Unified Protocol and exposure and response prevention (ERP). In doing so, he helps clients manage strong emotions and shift unhelpful patterns. His clinical training at Boston University’s Center for Anxiety & Related Disorders (CARD) and the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial VA Medical Center (clinical internship) emphasized individualized, goal-oriented therapy rooted in collaboration and respect. Known for his calm and transparent style, he helps clients understand their symptoms, develop resilience, and regain confidence in daily life.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Barthelemy brings a strong background in neuropsychology, having trained at the VA Boston Healthcare System, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut (clinical fellowship). This foundation deepens his understanding of how the brain and behavior interact, informing his approach to both therapy and assessment. Drawing on science and compassion, he is committed to helping clients restore balance, strengthen resilience, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
